Note on overlap. Staining, bricks, stone, and painting cross over between interior and exterior — a fireplace surround is the same material conversation as a chimney cap, just on the warm side of the wall. We surface that on the walkthrough.
Process
Walkthrough
Lukas walks the property with you. Photos at every surface, measurements with iPad LiDAR for accurate square-footage. Notes the prep, the light, the traffic patterns. No clipboards or sales pitch.
Color
Sherwin-Williams ColorSnap AR previews on your wall, paired with physical chips at the windowsill. Sample patches where stakes are high. We narrow three options to one before any quart is opened.
Prep + paint
Drop cloths on every floor. Hardware off, switch plates off, vents masked. Surfaces sanded, filled, primed where the substrate calls for it. Two coats unless spec'd otherwise. Daily clean-up.
Walk-through + warranty
Final inspection together — flashlight at the trim, scrutiny at the cut-lines. Touch-ups same day. Two-year workmanship warranty in writing. If a coat fails because of how we applied it, we come back.

Spanier Painting is the painter Central Minnesota families recommend by name — and it’s been a family business from the start. Duck Spanier founded it in 1984 to put himself through college; forty-two years later it has grown into a full residential and commercial painting company.
His son Lukas grew up on the job and carries it forward on the same standards: clean job sites, honest quotes, and the right paint for the work — Sherwin-Williams is our biggest partner, though we’ll use whatever your project calls for. Today the family works across Central Minnesota on interiors, exteriors, residential and commercial — from single rooms to two-day commercial turnarounds. EPA RRP certified. The owner is on every job.
